Away from busy group classes, Taksu Sound Healing offers private singing bowl sessions in Gianyar, a short drive from Ubud. Each appointment is unhurried and held by Jero Mangku Dalem.
What happens in a session
You rest comfortably while Tibetan and Nepalese singing bowls are played around you. You are invited simply to listen — to the changing tones, the resonance and the silence between them. There is nothing you need to do or achieve.
Why a private session
Sessions are by appointment only, so the time and space are yours. You can share what brings you to Taksu beforehand, ask questions, and take a quiet moment afterwards without being rushed.
Held with respect for Bali
Taksu Sound Healing is offered with reverence for the living Balinese culture around it. Guests are asked to arrive with openness, modesty and respect for the space and its traditions.
What sound healing is not
A session is a spiritual and wellbeing experience. It is not medical or psychological treatment and does not replace care from a qualified health professional. Every experience is individual.

The most relaxed choice. Your villa or hotel can usually arrange a driver, who can wait or return for you after your session.
Grab or Gojek car
Book a car in the app from Ubud. Return rides can be harder to find in quieter areas, so consider booking your driver for the return too.
Grab or Gojek motorbike
Quick and inexpensive for one person travelling light. A helmet is provided by the rider and must be worn.
Scooter
Only if you are an experienced rider with a valid licence that covers motorbikes. Always wear a helmet, and allow extra time on busy roads.
From the airport
Gianyar is a longer journey from Ngurah Rai International Airport than from Ubud. A pre-booked private driver is the simplest option.

Timing
Roads around Ubud can be busy, especially late morning and during ceremonies, when roads may close for processions. Leave a little earlier than you think you need, so you arrive calm rather than rushed.
